Welcome, I’m Alex. Cat mama, wife, lover of baking and baked goods! I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember, whether baking fairy cakes with my mum or watching my dad baking bread. I’m based in Yorkshire, where I live with my husband and chief taste tester, James, and our two kitty’s, Fizz and Willow.

Baking and spending time in my kitchen has always been a great way to unwind, and means I keep my colleagues (I’m a full time digital analyst) in full supply of treats while I experiment with recipes.

When I’m not in the kitchen or analysing websites, I love hiking with friends, travelling with my husband, spending time with my wonderful family and endless cuddles with my kitty’s.

I started this blog as a place to share baking ideas, tips and recipes.
